While everyone else was nodding in agreement or something similar, had watched Elly closely for a second. There had been something familiar about her actions...
And then he knew it.
Even before Salty could start to sign to her what was said, Shadow tapped Elly gently on the shoulder, and started to sign.
[Faini,] he pointed to Faini to make sure not to be misunderstood. [said that she's glad Skyi, her gold flit, found you. We only have to wait for Terent, T-E-R-E-N-T, to come. He's the last of the members.]
The others just stared at him once they realized what he was doing. Graythorn was the first to speak.
"I didn't know you knew sign-language." he said, wide-eyed, to Shadow, who, if Salty hadn't taken over, was still signing out the conversation.
"[I've known for a while... Angelline used to be partially deaf...]"
The table fell silent. It must've been apparent to the twins that Angelline (whoever she was) was a very, er, 'touchy' subject to Shadow.
After a pause, Cara cleared her throat. "Hey," she said, hoping either Salty or Shadow could translate this to Elly for her(which, if Salty wasn't, Shadow was.). "D'ya think Terent will be here soon? You guyscame pretty quickly..."
