Elly didn�t let her surprise at Shadow�s near miss show on her face. Though it was no wonder he seemed to like her � she must remind him a bit of his sister. For Elly, it was as simple as that. And she couldn�t imagine loosing a sibling at all�if she didn�t have Salty, where would she be?

[Is it that you don�t want to be a dragonrider, or that you don�t think you can be?] She asked him curiously, starting at a sudden weight that appeared on her lap. �Iro!� The brown fire-lizard gave a small chirp and demanded to be stroked, so Elly ran her hands over his soft head. [This is Iro] She signed awkwardly. [Sorry about him interrupting.]

She tiled her head to one side. [Salty gave the impression that you all wanted to stand for the clutch. What will you do instead?]
