It is equally important that young girls see and be familiar with male genitalia as they grow up. There is no real reason that a female should be offended or annoyed at the sight of a naked male. That is a cultural phenomenon that grew out of the repressed religious beliefs of the early colonists and spread by the fundamentalist cults that teach the idea that the unclothed male or female is an "occasion of sin". Christianity, our personal religious problem is trumped by even more repressive Moslem cults. Other societies around the world deal with the existence of the pubic area more moderately, especially in relationship to boys penises.
