People used to say marriage was between a man and a woman only. Anything else is nonsense. Well, we all know how that argument ended up. Most people eventually came to accept same sex marriage, rationalizing, 'Well, if two people are in love and want to get married regardless of their sex...why not?' Governments and the courts agreed. The same rationale will soon be made for polyamory marriage, saying 'Well, if three people really love each other and want to get married...why not?' And governments and the courts will again agree. Once the door is open, my friend, you can't easily close it up again. Now, if you want to argue this from a moral, religious standpoint, I won't disagree with you. But, fortunately, or unfortunately...depending on your point of view...we live in a secular world and secular morality, or lack of, rules the day. I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm not tying to change the world. Think of this as a sort of 'sci-fi' exercise, if you will. Cheers.
