While testosterone does fuel libido and aggressive behaviors in men, it also helps keep energy levels up to the point where functioning is easier. I had testosterone production in my body stop roughly a decade ago and found it impossible to not sleep almost twelve hours a day, and to be energetic enough to help my wife with the kids and house. I went on testosterone replacement therapy and found that I had problems with it, I was allergic to the adhesive in the patches, the gel made me break out in hives, and even the injections gave me a reaction--pain in my testicles. With the injections being the last line of defense, it eventually led to the removal of both testicles roughly eight years ago (my mother would be so happy if she knew). If I don't take regular testosterone injections (at least a small amount), I rapidly lose energy levels. With that said, there are quite likely a number of men who would benefit from removal of their testicles, I would agree. Putting them on low level injections to keep energy levels up would help. Maybe a better solution would be to put low levels of estrogen in the water supply, much like is done with fluoride? Best regards, Richard [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
