Date Posted: 18:36:43 05/19/16 Thu Many years ago i am over 60 now at around 8 years old i had a few bed wetting accidents leading my return to nappies and plastic pants at night . Although i was dry for most nights i was still sent to bed with a nappy on just in case . A wet morning earned me a smacked bottom at bed time following grandma's rules Smack to Sting and if the bottom is not still Red after 5 minuets it has not been smacked hard enough . My biggest embarrassment was having my nappies and plastic pants hung on the line as an only child they were a sign to every body , plus the nappies because of my age were bigger than normal babies nappies , mum bought the material by the yard and edged them herself . The plastic pants were also larger a special order from the local baby shop . As anyone similar stories to tell i remember it was not until i was around 14 and been dry at night for many months i was finally excused nappies .
