It is not somehow an inferior garment. To that end I never wore trousers at home. The only time I wore trousers was to school as wearing a skirt or dress would have been disruptive. However I still had to wear very short shorts all the time, often worn over panties. I also sometimes wore Mary Jane sandals and pelerine socks to school. The discipline side revolved around being put in nappies and plastic pants under my skirt after my bottom had been warmed. I was also kept in nappies at night. Also for practical purposes mummy used to put me in nappies for long journeys then take them off at the destination and allow me to put my frilly panties back on. My mother was also friendly with the proprietor of a toddler and baby shop, she used to sell hand made leather toddler harnesses and reins. To keep me safe my mother persuaded her to make a cute harness and reins in my size. So even in my teenage years I was sometimes put in a harness and reins. This was usually but not exclusively when I had been naughty so I was also in nappies under my skirt. My mother brought me up on her own, with help from my aunt and in my teenage years a strong lady tutor to improve my school work. My whole boyhood was moulded by strong and strict woman who all firmly believed in my petticoat treatment. Do I regret my upbringing-some aspects maybe but looking back I actually had a secure caring life.
