My mother and father were firm believers in nappy punishment.

Throughout my childhood I was put back into nappies and plastic baby knickers if I was naughty. Sometimes the punishment would last all weekend, and then I had no choice but to actually use my nappies.

It was all so embarrassing, especially if anyone else saw me.
