I'm sure I would still have been terribly embarrassed being dressed as a baby, even if it was as a boy baby. I did have a little romper suit which my mother claimed was quite boyish. It still had white lace trim on the cuffs, but it was blue, and had shorts instead of a skirt, so I suppose that's what she meant by 'boyish'.

It never seemed very boyish when It was pulled up over a thick terry nappy and tight plastic baby knickers.
