Who pulled them up was virtually never a problem since we almost always were sent to stand against the wall in the corner to regain control of our emotions and stop fidgeting around. That might be for only ten or fifteen minutes with no one paying any attention or longer with an interruption to come to the table or into the living room where I'd be asked about what I had done and given the chance to apologize to all or to some specific person depending on circumstances. Then most often my sister would tell every one that the bath water was ready and I'd be sent upstairs to sit in the hot tub water.
It was only then after being washed and dried that I might put drawers back on and either PJs or some loose fitting jeans.
If the punishment was school related I'd be told to sit at the kitchen table to finish homework fo the next day.
