I should have added that often that I had to do whatever home work was needed still with my sore heiney exposed. That might mean several hours to finish an over due assignment. Then mom would want to check what I'd written for errors or completeness. I'd have to bring the work to her, still naked from the waist down regardless of which room she was in or who was there. Often the back porch but at least twice she had gone out on the front porch to chat with some visitors and that made no difference.
I do not recall my sister ever having to come outside the house in just a blouse to show her homework.
