 According to the internet yes but most of that is just fetishist narrative and not factual. In real life boys get it more because we aren't as well behaved as girls. In real life there aren't many spankings period.

Also take into consideration that, for people who are not kinky about spanking, hitting a girl is a less natural response due to traditional feelings about masculinity and femininity. Old-fashioned ideas about boys are that they are or should be tougher and better equipped to absorb hard physical contact. Parents and schools that use corporal punishment tend to be old-fashioned in their feelings about things. Would not be surprising then, if boys still get spanked more often than girls like it was years ago.
