Welcome Jennifer and I appreciate your contribution to the forum. Good work on rarely needing to be spanked and as time goes on, it may become even less frequent. I've found that for some young adults it can be a very useful tool for correction. Don't get down on yourself if ti does happen, however. Treat it as a learning experience and move on. I never get down on myself I learn I cry but that helps me move on my mom hugs me after u got it more when I was younger

Sounds good. I think everyone has their own way of "closing out" a punishment or correction. I would always be there after, to hold and reassure as needed. I think that's really important unless she wants to be left alone (some do and that's okay).
