I had a profound interest in spanking from my earliest memories, say 5 years old anyway. My parents weren't spankers, though I did get a couple. I wanted them to be stricter and use spanking, but it just didn't happen. I even asked my mother to spank me. Probably didn't help any. I had a long spanking relationship with my spouse, we were both switches. But it lacked the disciplinary aspects I thought important to spanking. It was all about the end game for her. The few times I gathered the courage to suggest transforming into a domestic discipline relationship, I was quickly silenced with "That is the most stupid thing she'd ever heard of! Forget it!" We eventually divorced. Being a switch I found a few discipliarians, very few, But I did find several women to mentor. These relationships were all about discipline, no sex involved. There were lectures, scolding followed by corporal discipline to the level of intensity that I or the mentored indvidual could withstand. Exactly the way I'd wanted things to be since Iwas a child. One of my disciplinarians was a psychologist, much younger than I. She suggested my interest was possibly hereditary or perhaps my mother put me across her lap when I was a baby and patted my bottom, probably bare, to comfort me when I cried. She may have patted harder when I didn't stop and then softer allowing me to calm down. Her hypothosis makes as much sense as any, but I guess I will never know the true answer. Getting rid of it is most likely to be impossible. And, trying to get rid of it may be as bad an idea as trying to convert yourself from gay to non-gay. I suspect that a promising research project would be to investigate how the interest enhances survival of the individual and his or her offspring. I've had had some pretty good times with several various spanking partners over the years. Male female, top, bottom and switches. A little of everything. Some just a one time stand and others who came back for more. Good memories coupled with a some dry spells that lasted longer than I might have liked. I still get to give a few spankings too.
