You put a lot of thought into this Carla. I love the way you set up the story. Such an outburst probably would warrant a spanking. I grew up on a farm too, many years ago. I'm old enough now to be your Grandpa. And while it's not discipline related I felt right at home in my farm clothes. Jeans, boots denim or flannal shirt, baseball cap. When I had to go job hunting, after community college and put a suit and tie on with polished shoes, It changed me. I felt so out of place, I'm sure I blew some interviews because I appeared more nervous than I would have been if in my old farm clothes. So I can see where your perception lies. It makes sense to me.
