Seems to me you cry because it hurts, and to show the parent that they can stop spanking. My cousin was expert at that, sobbing immediately. Guy I knew said he tried to cry as soon as he was put over the lap. But for those who don’t try either crying or not crying, how many spanks does it take for tears to come?. What I have seen are yells for the first 8-10, then an intake of breath followed by crying, with bawling starting at 20 or so. Others observations?
