[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:45:11 01/23/23 Mon Hi everyone! 😘😘😘 I am a 37 year old mom who is diagnosed with very mild autism! My autism is super mild but I am a big kid at heart and I work as a receptionist in a small hospital and I adore children! I have three kids one precious son with very severe autism and is non verbal and two precious girls and my youngest has mild autism like me! My nephew is precious too! 🤗🤗🤗 Here are 11 reasons why I love kids! 😘😘😘 Before I start I am not pro spanking anymore and I got spanked as a child but I am not very strict and even though I use to believe in spanking I am still against strict parenting cause being too strict seems grumpy and mean to me! 😭😭😭 I never spanked my precious son cause of his disability but my two precious girls and my precious nephew get spanked sometimes with a hairbrush over my knee with a soft cuddly toy to hold onto during the spanking! 😤😤😤 Anyway here are 11 reasons kids are the best gift ever! 🤩🤩🤩 Reason 1: Small children are innocent and pure of heart!  I know many will disagree with me which is fine but in my opinion a small child under the age of at least 10 never does anything wrong on purpose. It's their upbringing that makes them naughty. A baby cannot speak when born, right? A child learns to walk, jump, talk, interact and explore so I believe a child is only naughty cause something went wrong in their upbringing cause I believe a small child is as innocent as a unicorn!  Reason 2: Small children LOVE to play!  Children will play and have fun. A small child will play made up stories acted out with their toys or they will jump and hop and be a bubble of sunshine.  Most adults are too embarrassed to play and I am not saying adults never have fun but you hardly ever see an adult playing tag or rolling down a hill or playing hide and seek.  A child will play without a care in the world what others think. That to me is a true golden blessing!  Reason 3: Very small children never hold grudges!  So many adults who are family or past friends sadly stop talking over one person doing something wrong and the other unable to forgive.  Now older children can hold a grudge for sure but toddlers never hold grudges.  A small child has a VERY forgiving heart!  Reason 4: Children use their imagination!  A child will play pretend! They will pretend to be a doctor or a police officer or a dragon or a Power Ranger. Children will pretend to be a parent to their toy dolls. Imagination is a magical gift that we should treasure and be careful not to lose.  Kids have the best imagination ever!  Reason 5: Children watch cartoons!  I personally do not like adult television and I LOVE kids television so kids cartoons are my prefered thing to watch on telly!  I LOVE Disney Plus!  Reason 6: Children love to be silly!  Seriously kids are crazy! They will be silly and say silly things but that is wonderful cause lets be honest most adults are too serious!  Reason 7: Children love candy, ice cream and chocolate!  Proper food is better and healthier but candy and sweets taste much better!  Reason 8: Children are messy!  Just watch a small child eat spaghetti!  Kids are messy with toys all over the floor until bedtime! Your house like a toy store but messy children are happy children and we need happy children!  Reason 9: Small children gives the best hugs!  A hug from my three precious children or any child melts my heart!  A hug from a child cures all sadness and all pain like magic!  Reason 10: Children believe in Santa!  And Santa Claus comes again in 11 months!  Reason 11: Jesus blessed the little children!  I cannot post the exact bible verse but in the bible the disciples say to the adults Jesus is to busy to spend time with children!  So Jesus scolds his disciples and embraces the small children!  That is my favourite part of the bible!  Jesus was very loving to the small children!  God bless! How about this definition: Parents need to be strict when their children need to focus and concentrate on what they are doing. Such situations include but are not limited to those where there are potentially lethal or extremely dangerous possible consequences lurking. Self-described "strict" parents are often "not fun" precisely because they treat every situation as one involving 'lethal or extremely dangerous possible consequences. First Time Obedience This is absurdly strict. Indeed, if I had a totally ingrained habit of FTO, I would have killed by Dad and myself. I was driving and I pulled off a highway onto the shoulder to avoid an on-coming tractor-trailer moving-van. My Dad woke up from dozing off and told me to get back on the road. I didn't. I 99% agree with you it's on the child's upbringing that shaped their behavior and character. I work with children on the asd spectrum and agree spanking isn't the answer. Josh is non verbal and he is 15 years old! 🤗🤗🤗 My middle child is Isabella who I call my wild child! She is 13 years old and into everything gymnastics and video games! 🤗🤗🤗 And my youngestEmily who also has mild autism is 11 years old and my little hugger cause she LOVES hugs and cuddles and she is into arts and craft and all things Unicornsand My Little Pony! 🤗🤗🤗 When I use to be pro spankingI made friends with Pamela Jane years ago! I missed her a lot and even though I am not pro spanking anymore I will ALWAYS be her friend so I hope she can forgive me for leaving for so long! 😭😭😭 I left cause parents on these forums (including her parents) are WAY WAY WAY too old fashioned and strict and it upsets me and makes me sad! 😭😭😭 Children are the best gift ever! 💖💖💖 God bless!
