Hey, Devon. The girl who was staying with us was there because she had a big personal issue she was dealing with and my parents were providing her with a safe place to get through her difficulties. She also helped my mom take care of us kids, especially my younger brothers. She was nice, and I liked her a lot. Whatever she heard and saw that day, I think she did not want to embarrass me more by talking about it. When she was ready, she went back to her home to another state. Our families keep in touch, but I have no contact with her directly. I'm curious to know what she remembers, but I was always too embarrassed to ask her about it.

If I were in your shoes the not knowing what she heard/saw would be something I would really want to know about. How long ago was this? If your families are still in contact I suppose you could track her down. I think I would just point blank ask.
