I think the other siblings were all 18-19 I definitely did rear up while over mum’s knee like you described which could be pretty embarrassing. I find it almost funny that you could be so worried about being seen, but then during the punishment manage to expose yourself even more. I used to do a kind of breaststroke frog kick when I was balanced over the back of the couch which would have been positively x-rated from the wrong angle and over the knee I would kind of bring my knees forward and back which according to my sister was a wild show Nobody was ever really in the room while it was happening, but the living room in our house is very central so people would constantly walk past and get an eyeful [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

We were kind of bent really far over so our chests would have been in contact with the backrest of the couch with our heads near the seat cushions and our bums sticking up as the highest point. The couch was pretty low down and solid so we were supported and our legs were more or less sticking straight out behind us and dad belted on a somewhat downward angle. We were sort of naturally anchored down so we didn’t have to worry too much about moving off the couch. It might have been different for my brother because he is way taller than any of the girls but I don’t remember any incidents of him falling or anything. In that position It was fairly hard to keep your legs together in the first place, but after a few smacks with the belt you stopped trying anyway. I don’t think anyone would have really been allowed to actually sit in the living room during, but honestly to do anything in our house you pretty much had to go at least past the big archway that opens into it from the hallway. I think everyone pretty much passed through equally but even our mum would be in the kitchen cooking the whole time which was a very clear view of the back of the couch. Being over mum’s knee on the same couch wasn’t very exposed to the kitchen which was some respite, but the hallway got the full view those times. I think if anyone did get watched more than others, it was probably Olivia (my twin) because she only went over mum’s knee a handful of times especially in later years and only got belted once so I guess we all went out to see if it was really happening! When dad was using the belt, the house was always really quiet and tense, so you could always hear footsteps approaching, but unless it was very early on in the punishment, the embarrassment would barely register until afterwards. People walking past while you were taking clothes off at the start was always really embarrassing because dad made a point of not trying to embarrass us and usually averted his eyes (or at the very least didn’t ever stare) while lecturing us but knowing someone is behind you looking isn’t fun.
