I remember normal birthday spankings, but nothing this elaborate. The pain of it was not much to speak of and everyone, including the recipient, had a good laugh.
In your experience, it was fun because sadism is a common human characteristic. And people like to spank. You were a victim of it but, hopefully, nothing too traumatic.

It was not too traumatic and it was fun even though I was in pain and yes at times I got stuck and got extra swats from my friends. Near the end I crawled slower from having a sore bottom.
