It’s a bit hard to “rank†these events specifically but I’ll comment on each with regards to the embarrassment/humiliation factor
Being put over the knee like a little kid when older?
Obviously an awful experience at any age, but embarrassment was definitely amplified with age!
Being bared?
Again always an uncomfortable feeling to have no underwear on in the living room! We had to completely remove whatever we had on that was covering our backsides, so occasionally in one-piece swimming costumes or winter school uniforms we would end up having to undress completely which was almost worse than the actual punishment.
Witnesses or one particular witness?
Our living room was very central in our house, which was almost circular in design, and all of our bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen pretty much opened into it. This meant it was relatively common for my siblings to witness snippets of our punishments. Nobody was allowed to be in the living room while it was happening, but it wasn’t like people were confined to bedrooms. I myself (and I’m sure if you pressed my sisters and brother, they would admit the same) definitely walked through to grab many a snack from the fridge that I didn’t really need just to get a glimpse of what was going on in the living room! I also remember one particularly humiliating occasion when my brother had gone to the bathroom before I had gotten in trouble only to emerge five minutes later while I was over the back of the couch getting the belt completely naked.
Being threatened with or promised a spanking in public?
I honestly can’t remember this ever happening, but it would have been horrifying at the time I’m sure!
Being spanked when all dressed up in a skirt and heels?
I can only remember one, but it was especially bad which is why I can remember it!! In Australia we have school formals which are equivalent to the American prom. After my year 12 (our last year of school) formal, my friends and I went to an after party with the alcohol flowing organised by a girl in our year at a club in the city. As it happens my friend’s dad was a teacher at our school and he had become aware of the party and was there waiting to call the parents of any underage girls who had turned up to come and get them (the drinking age in Australia is 18, so some of the girls were perfectly allowed to be there but my twin sister and I were 17 at the time…she was clever enough to not go to the party so didn’t get in any trouble at all, despite drinking way more than I would have at the party she went to because it was at a house and she slept over). Once my mum got me home, my beautiful formal dress was off and I was naked over her knee! At least it was a Saturday night and mum and I were the only ones home…
Getting spanked as an older teen after years without a spanking?
Not so much as an older teen as my parents didn’t smack us really after we left school, but my mum did burst in on me in the shower in my 20s with her wooden spoon when we were running late for something! Not a real severe punishment or anything - just a couple of whacks but it did come as a huge shock!
Listening to your annoying aunt comment as you were getting it?
I’m 100% certain my parents would never have punished any of us when someone other than our immediate family was in the house.
Being put back over the knee for a second dose after you annoyed your mom by saying something?
I can’t remember this ever happening! Can’t imagine it would be embarrassing so much as painful!!
