 Your Mom was very firm and no doubt consistency was helpful to you. I never knew for sure until I was actually sentenced that a spanking was coming. So I was always searching for an apology that would get me off. Once I was sentence and actually getting it, I frantically searched for an apology that would make it end. Finding one was a fool's errand, just like trying not to cry!

When a spanking ended, after no doubt a string of apologies, I always struggled to find the one the had "worked." Usually I couldn't remember which one came last!

I have a lot of respect for anyone who felt the hairbrush since it was well-known to be a big upgrade and one that my best friend always got and that my mother hinted that I needed. I bet you never thought that you got off easy after the hairbrush.
