This might range from comments like “you call that a spanking?” to “why don’t you do it on the bare” or “would you like to borrow my hairbrush, I have it in my purse?” I think that critiques mostly come from females. Second: Did your mom take that advice and make things worse next time? Third, did you ever offer advice when you thought someone was making spanking mistakes? Aunt Colleen was my mom's younger sister, cool in mod mid- 1960's kind of Carnaby Street cool. After dinner I was told to clean the table and load the dishwasher and actually, I complained. I did not like being told in front of the visitor, Pastor's wife or not. I was told by my mom that the complaining is sass and I did have to go over her knee. However, and after my spanking, our Pastor's wife mentioned that she has in the past with her children had taken away their dishwasher privileges for a couple of weeks. Well, my mom thought that was a good idea and as part of my educational punishment, the dishwasher was off limits to me for the next two weeks. What really hurt is when Pastor's wife was over again and she made the comment that maybe two weeks was too long a punishment and one week may have been more appropriate. l really do not think other adults should be making suggestions in the punishment department. So you had to wash dishes by hand? My aunt convinced my mom to give me corner time before my spanking whenever my aunt was there to see me get spanked. Both Pastor and her believe in spanking and spank their own kids. Since Pastor and his wife are close friends as well, they are aware of my mom spanking. Anyway, yes, I did have to wash dishes by hand every single day for two full weeks (14 days). What made me mad was the comment that two weeks was long and maybe should have been one week.
