Real life and in real time spankings are often hard to participate in. You had no real choice on this one. I bet you felt very sorry for your minor part, nonetheless. There was probably no way to help the child. I don't think it could have been anything but a spanking. A so-called "attitude adjustment" is just a wishful thinking synonym for "a good old fashioned spanking."

As I recall, you overheard your cousin get spanked and that was very hard on you. I think this shows good character on your part. Spankings really hurt and the humane response to overhearing someone in pain is sympathy.

What if the daughter had broken some delicate items in your store by not listening to mom? A good old fashioned spankin was needed. Kudos to the mom.
