The battle between the expectation of Fetish and reality is probably more of a problem today?
20 years ago smoking levels and social expectations was a lot different than it is today.
Which also explains why so much content tends to be outside!
I do recommend you read Mericalovess Lakeside Love for a different take on the expectations of the fetish?
