Pearl-clutching among the antis. "How dare anyone get enjoyment in life from cigarettes!" Meanwhile, all sorts of drugs right on up to fentanyl reign supreme.

I started and became a smoker because most members of my family and extended family smoked. Even though cigarettes were heavily advertised on TV and in magazines, I can't say that had an influence on me. Nor did people my age that I interacted with. Smoking was indeed mainstream, my high school had a smoking area.

My thing is, I just want to be left alone. And that is exactly what the antis (anti many other things besides smoking) don't want.
