Subject: New Year change? Thoughts?

So, I was thinking just now, with the new year approaching, I was thinking about changing the front cover of the NSC volumes going forward.

Has anyone looked at the prototype Volume 002 cover compared to the original Volume 02?

Thinking of dropping all that extra text beneath the cover image, to give the image itself more room, and going with the near-borderless covers. It would be a very slight simplification on my end, a few less keystrokes. But otherwise, not much of a change. I'll get myself a cuppa, and mock up next month's cover, it'll still be the basic cover, just with a larger image and less text.

I'd like to know what people think, but given the volume of feedback (being almost none) I've gotten every time I've asked about making changes, I figure you're all content with the way things are.

Youse know I'm open to making changes, but I won't know, unless you talk to me.

You know what? F*ck it, I may as well just go ahead, see what next month's volume looks like next month.

If you're happy with the look of next month, let me know, and if not, let me know.

And it looks like the series will end next year anyway, so few people are writing, it's not worth my time. If I decide to stick with it, releases will be sporadic, appearing every few months. If someone wants to take over the existing series, or start over with something new, LET. ME. KNOW. And I'll help where I can, getting things started.

Audiobook versions of stories would have been cool, and I would have liked to release an illustrated story, like a comic.

One thing I still want to do is get my hands on an eBook reader, and see if I gen get the PDFs to import, just to see how that might look, been wanting to do that for years, but I suppose people use their phones, tablets or desktops. Years back, I actually created a version of Smoking by Denise for the Palm Pilot, an m515 if my memory is correct. It was text-only, but it was readable. And that was when the library was a lot smaller than it is now. I wanted the library on all the devices. All the platforms.

Wanted to release parts of the library in languages other than English, and there are a few items in other languages, but nobody wants to translate, a Google, while it has gotten better, still kind of sucks.

Have always wanted to see SBD as an actual book.

Okay, I'm still sleep-deprived and rambling at this point. Didn't intend for this post to be this long.
