Okay, so I better come clean with a bit of a plan I've had in mind since starting the list of questions, over 120 at this point, I will cull stuff.
The plan is, to present her with the list of questions to see which ones she would be willing to answer, give her some time to think on them, and then do a free-form interview with a list of talking points, and see what happens from there. I'll either record and transcribe, or take my laptop, and try and keep up, I'm not the fastest typist, so I don't know how that will go. Either way, I might have enough to work with. I'll also ask her if I can snap a couple of pix, noting that will identify her of course, and put something together. Unless anyone has a better idea.
The only other plan is to come up with an agreed list, and let her answer them in her own time, but I don't think that will work, as I don't want to take up any more of her time than necessary.
I dunno. I'm a little out of my depth here.
I'm actually still in sporadic contact with Vesperae Lux, who use to administer her site, The Sublime Desire of Cigarette Smoking. I reckon she has a story in her, so I might ask her at some point if she wishes to share. I've been wanting to do a volume of her forum header images, and I've asked a few times over the years, but she's turned me down, fair enough.
How do you manage it Baz?
