Subject: Not sure this would be that practical - anyone can do the grade exams, with a minimum age of 16 applying for grade 11. not sure we want people who have done the first few grades as a child teaching others..... I see where you are coming from, but I'm not sure the grade exams are the right criteria.
In reply to: Just some thoughts 's message, "What about a tier approach? I think the grade exams are a good idea but I do think it needs to be shortened, with maybe just 8 or 9 grades instead of the 12 now offered, which seems to be a problem. Maybe at the end of the first 3, you teach beginners, under a supervision of a TCRG. Then the next 3, teaching Novice & Prizewinners and so on into the champion levels, such as teaching just first Prelims then OCs. Maybe someone with more insight into this can offer variations or can tweak it." on 11:31:20 11/14/18 Wed
