Second Lessons in Real Estate Promotion

send money to st aug

As real estate agents, EXP Realty customarily charge a fee of 6% to sell a home. This covers the buyer and seller side of the transaction as well as all Realtors and Brokerages involved. It also leaves goodly room for fee-splitting, especially where the seller is paying full commission and there is no cooperating broker.

So, for all clients you can send, we expect that you will review the closing documents and assure that they meet with any requirements you can dream up. You represent your client, and EXP Realty and John Phillips Homes represents your client, and everyone divides the loot.

In turn, EXP will happily explain the importance of paying the full fee. In order to make it easier for them, we knock $1000 off our fee and kick it back to you. It shows up appropriately on the closing statement. That way, you get paid from closing, your client does not see extra charges, and everyone is happy.

Again, fee-splitting is normal and customary within our industry and things always run smoothly when we have a cooperative referral. This is a great way for you to ensure your clients sell their home with a good referral fee.
