i'm not one to mess with what's not broken since you're having success, however if the butt end of the club is hitting your trailing forearm then it sounds as if you're flipping your hands through impact.

again, do what works for you but it seems if you're flipping it could play havoc with pitches etc and be most inconsistent overall..
