Great distinction. This creates a whip like effect sort of like the little string toys on Karate Kid II (or III ?) where they rotated the spindle to get speed from the string arms, it has already started back the other way before the arms have stopped. This idea helped the Kid with faster punches and will add speed to your golf swing.
