That was quite the argument re: maintaining or releasing you wrist angle.

Observation: From what I've gathered from watching various instructors on TV, the idea that maintaining your wrist angle as long as possible promotes increased power and trajectory is pretty-much universally accepted.

Is that not the very basis of David Leadbetter's new Laser Guide system? He stresses that in order to maximize power and swing speed you must hold that angle and allow the clubhead to accelerate through impact. He shows videos to illustrate that exact thing; and Leadbetter is one of the top instructors in the world.

As far as NG, Todd Graves stresses the exact same thing.

On the Golf Channel, they commonly site this as the major difference between the pros and the avg golfer - the pros hold the angle as long as possible whereas we generally break down.

Am I missing something here? Why is this even up for debate?
