The way a Major League pitcher throws the ball (putting his entire body into it) is certainly more of a body motion then just swinging the arm back and forth!

If you have studied the hand and arm swing of Ernest Jones you will find it is very dependent upon a pendelum-like swinging motion that is very much dependent on timing and tempo, much more so then the old NG (BGG) swing.

Additionally if you are going to rely on a pendulum hand and arm swing you would be much better served using a conventional golf set up and finger grip, which facilitates a freer wrist hinge, because a free wrist hinge is a must for that swing!
