Actually, from a physics standpoint that's not true. As long as the angle between the shaft and forearm remain unchanged throughout the swing then the swing is SA. That is, the forearm/shaft system is swinging about a single axis. The actual shape of the forearm/shaft component is irrelevant - only the fact that the relationship between the shaft and forearm s fixed is what makes it SA. In CG the angle changes,ie. at impact the shaft and forearm ARE in line whereas at address they are not.

Now whether or not someone can make a full golf swing and maintain a constant shaft/forearm angle is a different question...
