Subject: Leadbetter article

Anyone read the David Leadbetter cover article in the Jan. issue of Golf Digest? He suggests starting your backswing with your hands already at waist hieght and the club taken back to perpendicular to the ground - in other words, eliminate your takeaway. Then just do a couple small pumps and swing normally. It's almost the way one would swing a baseball bat. Anyone try this? I live in the north and will have to wait for Spring to give it a try. Sounds interesting!
