I think what you are saying is our gut instincts, sorry to say. Some of us try to get past that and succeed to greater or lesser degree. I really feel sorry for PNG women, because men set all the rules for themselves with impunity. Such was true in western societies not even 30 years ago, but the women finally started laying down some laws at the societal level. Men still violate them, of course, but all in all I suspect women are better off because of this struggle.
