You are taking specific behaviours found in PNG and making a value judgement on them. Manipulation of people is exactly what leaders do to move forward. If we removed your outer layer of subjectivity and examined the actual behaviours that you've judged, it might not be nearly as bad or nearly as unusual as what you think!!!
