Thanks very much for this.

I see the issue not as outsiders forcing any system upon us, but us being able to choose the system we want.

I also am not convinced at all now that the western model of economic development will actually make Papua New Guineans better off than they are now. Of course there will be improvements, but land is everything to us, and that seems endangered by the system that is sweeping over us.
