The key word to your response is "Could have". The fact is, he didn't. There is an old saying that goes, "If you can't dazzel them with intelligence, then baffel them with bullshit!" The culprit responsible for this defamation doesn't have the acute intelligence to stick to the issues of the debate, therefore he resorts to deceptive bullshit. And so far it appears he has bullshitted quite a few people.
