Downey peered through the crack, not wanting to burst in where he was not wanted.

But that's basically everywhere, isn't it?

He amended his thought- not wanting to burst in where it would create a more than usually awkward situation.

He pushed the door open wider and slipped inside, into the relative gloom. The first voice that hit his ears was the honey-coated tones of Enchanter An'deren.

Curses. Well, it's too late to leave now.

Then he heard Tahrialah, and, he strained to hear, was Draga there too? Downey shrugged mentally and slid towards the voices, keeping in the shadows of the towering bookcases out of sheer force of habit.

[OOC: Please don't let someone notice him in a big embarrasing (sp?) scene. One of his job requirements is silent slipping in the shadows.]
