Subject: D.J. Munir??

Anybody know if he'll be eligible this year?? It's amazing how he's ineligible after two years of college. Then he comes back and has problems with Macarchuck and is suspended for one game and then Nick gives him the ball again and he's the man! Way to teach a lesson!

With the amount of time that coaching staff spends screaming at guy's maybe they should ease up some and make sure the best player is eligible and maybe stop signing non-qualifiers like Beauford.

Actually Nick wasn't so bad at Fordham. He did better than Bob Hill. If Nick didn't take that big transfer from Providence for one year when they were an independent beating up on Army 4x per year then his record would be alot worse then it already is.

Beuaford is an excellent pick-up for Stony Brook. Even if he doesn't qualify, having him sit out a year with three years of eligibility is worth it. Beauford was capable of going considerably higher. If he does indeed end up in the program, it is somewhat of a coup for Macarchuk

Your nut's! Stony was highest level school recruiting him! He's a 5'10 2G who can't shoot! Obviously he needs work academically as well. He has never been able to play the point in HS or AAU! NO J! No handle! Pure athlete who can defend!

I don't buy the fact that Stony Brook was the "highest level" school recruiting Beauford. His academics and size probably swayed a lot of schools to pass on him, but he's really solid. Albany would love to have him in their backcourt.

Beauford is an excellent pick-up for Stony Brook. With a year of prep, he would have went higher, and deservedly so. He could play in the MAAC, or even in the Atlantic 10.

Great athlete, great defender! That's it! No skills! Also, he is most likely going to sit out. Jamar Wilson is the best guard in the AE and Lucious Jordan who was the leading scorer at Loyola, MD the past two years will be in the backcourt together for two years. No room for Beauford! Sorry!

Jamar Wilson is likely the best guard in the league but it certainly remains to be seen what kind of an impact Jordan will have in the league. I will say this- Beauford excelled in the toughest high school league in the country. I'm willing to believe he would be a better pick-up than Iati or Jordan. Time will tell. But certainly, if he was on Albany's roster, he would carve out minutes for himself, just like he will do at Stony Brook.

Czar,

Who is the best guard in the league. Jamar Wilson or Marcus Barnes?

As you posted below, you say Marcus Barnes "will be the best player". Isn't Marcus a guard? In your post to D.J. Munir??, you say "Jamar Wilson is the best guard in the AE".

Which is it?

Dayton, Xavier, Temple and other would smack Vermont. Norhteastern will be the most talented team in the AE next year. They probably won't win it because of chemistry problems. Marcus Barnes will be the best player. NOt even close. He is much much better than little T.J.!

What Chemistry problems are you anticipating with the arrival of Mr. Barnes?
