I know that I'll be raked over the coals for this one, but would we really miss BU and Northeastern if they left the league? The Boston market could care less about America East.....I really don't see what they bring to the table other than small and apathetic fan bases.

Take those numbers with a grain of salt. Watching games on TV as well as attending a few games at various venues, I know for a fact that some numbers are more "honest" than others. For instance, I was at a BU game where they said there was 900 and there was probably like 300. Also, I don't even know if Northeastern's gym could hold 700. Other places are more legit.

mainejeff, just my opinion, but here are the schools that fudge #'s and schools that are honest

Honest: UVM, UNH, Stony Brook, Binghamton

Not Honest: Maine (slightly), BU, NU, Hartford and Albany

The two Boston schools and Hartford are the worst. There was 200 people at a Hartford game on TV once, and the box score on their website said 1100.
