Most schools -- such as Maine -- used the paid attendance as their attendance mark. That includes no-shows, which may explain why some numbers look elevated.

Fewest tickets sold in terms of conference tournaments, huh? Are there still some conferences that play all tournament games at the court of the higher seed? Perhaps the conference would make/save a few bucks going this route.

"The two Boston schools and Hartford are the worst. There was 200 people at a Hartford game on TV once, and the box score on their website said 1100."

Animal- I can not speak for other schools but I assume it is similar.Hartford's attendance figures are based on tickets sold. For example,I sit in the VIP section. The VIP section has a 90% sell thru for each game but maybe you see 20% of those fans showing up regularly(many are corporate owned). The only game that it was almost full this year was against BU.As a matter of fact due it was the ONLY game this year that we actually had to sit in our assigned seats. I think I was at the Hartford game that was televisd that had the attendance as 1100 and you saw only 200(I was at every home game for the past few years and there was never 200).I must admit though that there were probably only about 500 or so on that Blizzard ridden day. Hartford has about 1000-1100 base tickets sold to season ticket holders so their attendance figures will be at least that amount.

lsbal, if that is the case I have no problem with that, but the problem is some of these schools use the attendance numbers in recruiting and I don't think a kid really cares about how many tickets were sold to see him play, but how many people actually show up. I have heard about at least one school (not Hartford) using their inflated attendance numbers against one of the schools that reports numbers closer to the actual attendance.
