I have no problem with BU hosting the tourney. But, based on last year's experience will be purchasing earplugs for next year. Everyone likes noise at sporting events, but WBA is excruciatingly tinny. The accoustics in that building are horrible. I've never been to a hockey game at WBA but it must be rock-concert like.

Hey, arena is dirty, smelly. Concessions are awful. Restrooms are small and unsanitary. Staff couldn't care less about patrons. Can't understand anything from PA system.

On the plus side: Good basketball. The return of the Friday night play-in games. Lots of good restaurants/hotels. Ninety miles from the crib.

All in all ... happy with the Boston selection. Now, if we can just hang some sound baffles from the ceiling of WBA.

As one who agrees (and posted same) about the conditions in Brown Arena and treatment of the patrons, I strongly urge everyone who has complaints to contact Monasch and the BU athletic administration and let them know how you feel. If enough people complain, we might get better conditions and treatment at next year's tourney.
