Moreover, our closest AE competition, Hartford, played in six of those tourneys, and we beat them in FIVE of them (3 times by a double figure margin) and tied them in one. So, home course advantage had nothing to do with it.

As for Title IX, the choice to play women's tennis, with teams that average around EIGHT members, has nothing to do with Title IX. It makes no sense to add a sport that only changes the balance by 8. It's sports like women's lacrosse and field hockey, which average something like 30 members, that make a difference -- which is why the rest of the AE sports teams for each and, up until now, Bing didn't. We were smart enough to realize that football is a huge drain on money and, thus, not worth starting.
