How did you come to this possible conclusion? I doubt other schools think he's ready to be moving on yet from Hartford.

Andy Katz had an article on ESPN.com with some various rumblings on the coaching carosuel, and basically reported that Harrison was trying to position himself in the hunt for the job, as he's a USF alum and had C-USA ties.

Personally, I'm with you. He's done some nice work at Hartford, but there's more work to be done. But, it's not totally made up.

Harrison said that rumor is completely false. Yes Harrison got his graduate degree at USF and his wife Brenda is from Tampa. Maybe this is a ploy to help him get a contract extension.

Exactly, just like Ben Howland said "he is not going anywhere." Are you kidding me....CUSA, warm weather, huge arena, beautiful Tampa Bay (probably the best school system in FLA for kids...not sure if he has any), his wife's ties to the area......versus, no offense...any school in the AE. Oh yeah...NO STATE INCOME TAX versus some of the highest in the land.

I would say this has the credibility to be more than a rumor.

According to an article today, Florida assistant Anthony Grant is the leader for the job. They are also inquiring about Ralph Williard, and Western Michigan coach Robert McCullum. Again, these are the words of Andy Katz, so take them for what they're worth. I'd say Harrison's not going anywhere.
