Subject: Not to be -- UNH loses to Minnesota

Minnesota broke open a 1-1 game scoring a goal about mid way into the 3rd period. Then scored three more times with the last one an empty net goal for a 5-1 win.

The Gophers were the better team tonight and Ayers kept UNH in the game with some more fantastic goaltending, but he got beat with a great individual play, then a screened shot and then a power play goal where he had no chance.

Well, it's exciting playing in the championship game and being on ESPN and all, but it will be even sweeter to finally win of these games. We're now 0-2 in National Finals games. Congrats to the Golden Gophers! Darn, they knocked UNH out of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament too!!
