With Paul Biancardi moving up to Wright State, W&M coach Rick Boyages resigned from W&M to become O'Brien's top assistant at Ohio State.

We at Northeastern like to refer to this situation as to "Leitao." It's a verb meaning "the action taken by a current head coach at a low or mid major university whereby they resign their responsibilities to return to work for a coach or university (for similar or more money) for which they had a previous relationship."

Examples include: Dave Leitao, Barry Gallup, Rick Boyages.

I heard that the W&M players are pushing hard for current W&M assistant (and former NU assistant) Pat Skerry for the job. Skerry is young (only 31 or 32), but some of the players he recruited have threatened to walk if he doesn't get the head job or stay on staff with a new coach.
