Sev looks very, very amused, his violet-red eyes hardening slightly. But he says nothing. Maybe he's taking a few tips from Vincent; speak little, listen much, see more.

Vincent, however, is watching Sev out of the corner of his eye, and a slightly disturbed look passes over his face, then is gone like a cloud on a summer day. This is not the Sev he remembers, though he is hardly the Vincent that Sev would remember, either. The Sev he knew had a smart mouth and loved to party and have fun, to run risks. Vincent had always been the one who kept the older (but no wiser) Turk out of trouble.

"The trouble is, Vinnie, you don't know how ta have fun."
"The trouble is that you don't know when you keep your mouth shut. And don't call me Vinnie."
"Aw, whassamatter, Vin? You always such a tightwad. Gotta get that pole pulled outta your--"
"Shut up, Sev."

Cloud, meanwhile, has scooted his chair away from Gabe, trying to make it as unnoticable as possible. But subtlety is hardly Cloud Strife's strong point, and he nearly knocks over his water glass in the process. "Oh, hey, lighten up! I didn't mean anything by it, yanno? Well, maybe I did, but nothing--aw, hell, I'msorryifIsaidanythingstupidpleasedon'tkillme." Cloud offers up a sheepish smile.

OOC: **watches Cloud spiral wildly out of character** Well, not really. He is fun, though. I should have done this sooner.
